I have considerably been faithful to Samsung phones, as after using the F480 this time I have again opted for a Samsung mobile namely Samsung S8000 Jet. It's an outstanding device with an excellence in the design. To be very honest it was the sophisticated design which infatuated me first and foremost.
The Samsung S8000 Jet can work well both with the 3G and the 2G networks. This AMOLED resistive touchscreen gadget can support the colours ranging up to 16M. It comes with screen size of 480x800 pixels, which indeed is a comparatively wide screen. The embedded accelerometer lets one view the screen both vertically and horizontally. When I play the music through this device, it takes me to a different word. Truly, I am not being much metaphoric, the DNSe (Digital Natural Sound Engine) embellished with the music player produces a quality sound.
The 5 MP camera of the Samsung S8000 Jet gives the natural shot to the every image clicked. While on the one hand, the auto focus and the LED flash ensure a well focused photograph, on the other hand, the face and smile detection function make sure that not even a single smile is missed snapping. The Geo-tagging feature lets you tag your images as per you wish, supposing you go to a certain place on holidays, you can tag the there snapped images in the name of that place to mark a memory. This camera can record the videos at the speed of 30 frames per second and that too with a superb quality. The internal memory of 2GB to 8GB and the expansible external memory of up to 16GB do not let the memory become a problem. As a result a greater freedom to store files.
The connectivity of the Samsung S8000 Jet assures a relatively fast speed with the functionality like GPRS, EDGE and HSCSD. The data transferability is possible through the Bluetooth and a v2.0 micro USB. This gadget can set up a wire less connection too with the help of WiFi. It's a Java MIDP 2.0 enable device. Some of the pre-installed applications which are there with the phone are Digital compass, smart unlock, T9, media gate 3D and organizer. To me, its indeed a great phone.
